About
Joel Willis, NIC, PTA
Movement Specialist and Educator, ASL Interpreter
For the past 20 years Joel has enjoyed a journey through the world of physical rehabilitation like no other. After graduating from Loma Linda Universities School of Allied health he began his Physical Therapy career in outpatient rehab, pediatric school-based, and in-patient geriatric rehab. Through mentorship and practice he has also had the opportunity to develop skills in manual, orthopedic, and neurologic rehab to name a few. Due to his passion for travel and cultural diversity Joel has also enjoyed the opportunity to take this practice internationally, working in rehab centers in Asia and parts of Central America. This has enabled him to hone a unique and holistic therapeutic approach. Sometime after beginning his therapy career, he received his NIC certification as an ASL interpreter. This blossomed after many years of growth within the deaf community. By blending these two unique backgrounds Joel aims to shine a light on your path to becoming your strongest self.

Along with his wife and two children Joel currently spends most of his time in Merida, Yucatan.
